The book was published in 2019. Five years ago, the popular student Andy Bell was killed by her boyfriend Sal Singh, who confessed to a-the crime and ended his life.
The case is closed and all town think that Sal is guilty. But the main character, a seventeen-year-old Pippa Fitz-Amobi doesn’t believe in Sal’s guilt and decides to investigate the case as a school project with Sal’s brother Ravi.
In my opinion the main idea of this book is the pursuit of truth despite public opinion. I remember the first meeting between Pippa and Ravi, when Ravi just closed the door in front of the girl. This book taught me to seek truth, no matter what.
